Meet Melissa Chaikof

Research Analyst

Melissa has contributed her talents to NPL since 2002, servicing clients across continents such as, The Order of St. John and the St. John Eye Hospital in Israel, Rotarians for Family Health and Aides Prevention, Global Soap, the Children’s Hospital of Costa Rica, Earth University, Lighthawk, The National Geographic Education Foundation, Advocates for Children, Hopital Sacre Coeur in Haiti and others.

Her approach to matching foundations, corporations and individual donors with clients is highly strategic and involves an integrated process with the full NPL team to surface new prospective donors both in the US and elsewhere. Melissa has been a faculty member and trainer at The NPL Learning Center© where we teach our proprietary donor research methodology. Prior to her work at NPL, Melissa was Outreach Director for the Auditory-Verbal Center of Atlanta and a Systems Analyst at the MITRE Corporation in Bedford, MA. She is one of the founders and current President of Usher 1F Collaborative. Melissa holds an M.S. in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in applied math.
